INTERVIEW
Tell us about your background. What were your first influences to be creative and become an artist and what has drawn you to contemporary jewellery?

Klimt02
I remember how often I drew endless patterns in the notebook. Then decorations with stones, mostly pieces of glass, coal or structural volcanic stones that I found outside or ashore sea. I always liked to look how my grand-dad masterly engraves a pattern on metal and it charmed me. In the beginning, I felt shy that my personal ideas not come out of pictures, they come from the depth of my subconsciousness, as if from the secret archive of my soul. And then I understood, there is no danger in art. Now, when I motivated by the desires to take a pencil in hands to draw, I listen the freedom in my soul and realize the exceptional faith that I begin to create.

From 1994 my art began to be incarnated in a production art - objects and jeweller decorations. Exactly modern designer approach to decorations including the newest technologies allowed me to be distinguished from other artists-jewellers.
For me, networking is a creative atmosphere of artists where I communicate, share my minds and ideas inspire, listening other interesting creators, and gain experience. It fills and enriches my soul. To my mind, art is a spiritual experience. I tried to coach the ability to recognize what is stylish, harmonious and actual therefore I annually visit many jewellery exhibitions all over the world to meet the artists-jewellers personally. Each of us is difficult and does not look like other individuality.

For today, I mark the special importance of networking in social media and specialized platforms for the communication of international jeweller art, such as Klimt.
How important is networking for you in your professional practice and what are your preferred tools for this?

What are your general thoughts on the contemporary jewellery world, (education, market, development...), where do you see chances and where are dead ends?

Klimt02
From old times, applied means the art created by human hands. It was a work from a free-limitations soul. Contemporary art compels to think about the present. Somehow Picasso said that everything depends on you and the sun with thousand rays into you, all other is nothing.

Today in September 2022, I look at how external circumstances drove us in personality space, but just like this, we can feel our freedom in loneliness. Also, we can hear the heart and feel the rays of desire. It encourages to operate from the soul.

For today, I mark a very small amount of platforms(social), where artists are able to show their work and exchange resource possibilities. Where could they talk about the difficulties they face and becoming a part of the creative industry?

Also, where will they find the answers to the question about the place prepared for the audience and scientists?

Lots of them go to blogging to evaluate the judgement of their work.
Thinking about your career, what role do technology and the digital play in your artistic development & communication?

Klimt02
To develop a career, you always have to run. To surprise the modern world, it is necessary to go in step with new ideas. Swift development of digital technologies, push me to change the approach to designing and making jewellery decorations. Eco-friendliness of decorations is one of the important directions in which I like to apply the newest technologies such as coloured thin latex coverage on silverware or brassware, that doesn’t allow oxides to influence on the reaction of the skin. Also, new technologies allow me more professionally apply ancient technologies. For example, as my different colours flocking on a decoration, by old Chinese technology. For today, the size of the flock is 0,1 mm, which means its coverage becomes more attractively tender and stable.

How has your work changed over the past few years and what are you excited about these days?

Klimt02
I’m a strong supporter of naturalism. For me, the best designer is nature. Lately, I want to express my admiration for the evolutional creation of humans. I admire by its harmonious work of internal organs, thus, everything performs its duty. For example, a heart pumps blood only but does not clear it, this duty is performed by the kidneys. The human brain created artificial intelligence. I delight in this organ. It creates ideas and fantasies. It contains our past and experience. Souls and feelings live in our hearts. In fact, only a human has a right and left hemisphere, and they are studied until now to define where art lives! Humanity adores the new brands in clothing and the newest gadgets. The Idea to express admiration for human organs and decorate them came to my mind two years ago when we were closed at home with the opportunity to realize the personal value. These limitations stopped me and I bailed to hear myself. Not immediately, certainly, after the shock I realized the freedom in myself. I realized that no one can take away what belongs to us. I mean skills and abilities. They are exactly a veritable resource in life. Mostly we aim to have the best house, machine. We surround ourselves with the best gadgets, we delight in them and aspire to their possessing. And all these things are created by humans! A tea pot in brain form is my attitude toward natural philosophy. I love tea. I like to drink ideas and knowledge from my brain. I hope that others also like this idea. Now there is a war in my country and I’m looking for new partners to incarnate my idea in the mass production of such tea-pots. Well, the heart is the next idea.
